The Connector Box
The Schmidt Array Connector Box is a clever addition to your pedalboard. It offers 6 stereo connections, which can of course also be used in mono.
Two of the sockets (YELLOW and GREEN) are connected if nothing is plugged into them at the outside of the box. This is extremely versatile if you are using setups with and without an Amp FX-Loop, meaning that without changing the internal cabling of your pedalboard your effects loop can automatically be moved in front of the amp signal by simply moving your amp return cable from the YELLOW to the RED socket.
It's also useful as an (optional) I/O connection for an external pedal i.e. a wah pedal and due to its stereo sockets, you can easily use an external Expression pedal or a typical Amp-footswitch in the board. The stereo sockets could be used also for balanced I/O or even as a Midi I/O with an adapter cable.

The Socket Plate
If you require alternative sockets to those in our Connector Box we can install a "Socket plate". This is a stainless steel plate that fits into the Connector Box aperture with up to three "D" flange sockets installed ie. XLR, MIDI, USB, Jack, powerCON etc. Where required we can also install internal cables with appropriate plugs.
Our SA350, 450, 600, 750 and 900 boards are now fitted with two Connector Box holes left and right as standard. This gives you the possibility of having a combination of Connector Boxes and Socket Plate and our XDM series each have 3 or 4 Connector Box holes.
