If you order a Lid for your board at a later date it’s very easy to fit. The holes on the back for the hinges are already marked and you just need to follow these instructions for placing the lock to give the correct tension on the springs.
Mark the position of the top hole of the spring section of the lock (using a pointed tool i.e. Bradle). This is located on the centreline 27mm (1.06 inches) from the underside of the Lid “hook” which is pre-installed.
